The Best Seasons:
Tour of Nepal scenic and cultural places, for all seasons of the year, from spring, summer, autumn to winter. However, the best time is spring from March to May. Most days are sunny but can get cloudy in the late afternoon.
Chances of light showers. Next best season is autumn/fall, which begins in September and ends in November. One of the high seasons for views and pleasant walks, sunny days most of the time in autumn.
It gets dark soon, due to short sunlight hours, cold mornings, and late afternoon till night time. Can visit for exciting Tour of Nepal and cultural places during winter times of December to February. Although cold months, most days are crystal clear with blue skies, sunshine hours from late 9am to 3pm.

The first part of the tour takes you around Kathmandu City famous landmarks, enriched with beautiful and masterpiece monuments. 

Kathmandu is the capital and commercial hub of Nepal, retains its ancient glory of age-old history, culture, and traditional heritage.
An amazing Kathmandu city, where visitors can observe, both Hindu and Buddhist religions blending in perfect harmony.

Kathmandu is also an important pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhists with major and important heritage sites. The city houses major old temples and monasteries, which are listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Kathmandu City, is indeed a unique traveler destination, wearing an exotic setting. In the past thousands of centuries, it stood as a large lake. It is surrounded by a tier of Green Mountain walls above, with mighty snow-capped peaks towards the north.

Pokhara City is located in a verdant valley. It is the 2nd largest city in Nepal after Kathmandu, which is famous for its ancient monuments.
Pokhara is famous for its scenic, beautiful landscapes, scenery of serene lakes, and snow mountain ranges. It is certainly an amazing place of natural wonders, where a sub-tropical climate reaches cooler alpine hills. 

Pokhara is a vantage point, where most trekking and mountaineering start and end in this beautiful city. Besides other scenic and leisure activities, Pokhara offers various exciting adventure sports, paragliding, ultra-light flight, Bungee Jumping, and Zip Flyer. 

Pokhara is located in the Mid-West Nepal, about 220 km or 137 miles of driving distance from Kathmandu. Pokhara at approx. 860 m/2,821 feet high with subtropical temperatures. Pokhara can be reached by an overland journey of 5-6 hours or a scenic flight of 30 minutes from Kathmandu.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel.
Day 02: Explore the local market of Aasan, and Durbar Square, and visit Swayambhunath. Drive to Nagarkot View Point Hill and check into a nice hotel.
Day 03: Enjoy the sunrise and views of the Himalayas and drive to Bhaktapur city. From Bhaktapur drive to Kathmandu.
Day 04: Fly to Pokhara, afternoon at leisure to explore lakeside.
Day 05: Morning to Sarankot for sunrise, then a full day tour of Pokhara.
Day 06: Fly to Kathmandu, enjoy a free day for individual activities.
Day 07: Morning Mountain Flight with views of Mt. Everest. Afternoon Tour of Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath.

On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, Brown Bear guide and staff receive for a short drive to your hotel. Located in the heart of Kathmandu city around the Thamel area, the most happening spot of Nepal.

On checking your nice room, getting refreshed the guide and staff briefs the group regarding the tour. Including norms and rules about the local cultures,
hotel facilities, etc.  Evening welcome dinner in an authentic Nepali restaurant with cultural programs. An introduction to Nepali cuisine and cultures.

A short walking distance from your hotel to the busy local market square, the area is teemed with life. Aasan is the hub to purchase all types of typical Nepali food, and household goods. In the center of the Aasan stands the Temple of
Annapurna, dedicated to the goddess of food and crops. Annapurna means food or crop enough, the local worships, prayer for a good harvest, enough food for all living beings. An interesting and exciting place to experience of the Nepali daily life and activities. 

From here walk the busy street towards Kathmandu Durbar Square, located in the center of the city. The Durbar Square (Royal Courtyard) is steeped with historical buildings. Start the tour visiting the old palace of Malla to the late Shah Monarch.

After Durbar Square, visit the palace interiors of the Malla and former Shah Monarch. Then drive a short drive to Swayambhunath, located on a green hill within the cool shade of a small forest. The oldest Buddhist Stupa of more than 2,600 years old history facing wonderful views of Kathmandu valley and the city.

 

After an interesting time at Swayambhunath, a famous landmark of Nepal, the next tour leads you beyond Kathmandu city. A pleasant drive of few hours to
Nagarkot, famous Hill station for glorious views of the sunrise and sunsets.

As well as the panorama of Himalayan arrays of snow-capped peaks with
Mt. Everest towards the Far East horizon.

Nagarkot Hill is a small town at 2,164 m/7,100 ft. A driving distance of 30 km or
17 miles. Located east rim of Kathmandu Valley and above the Bhaktapur city,
at Nagarkot transfer to a nice hotel. Afternoon at leisure for a short walk around the fresh cool air and marvel at the fantastic views of Himalayan peaks.

Includes stunning views of the sunsets as it glows on the white snow peaks of Langtang, Ganesh and Jugal Himal ranges.

Early morning before breakfast enjoy the spectacular views of the sunrise, as it reflects over the chain of Himalayan peaks. Either enjoy the views from the hotel terraces or balcony, or take a short walk to the observation and view towers.
After a refreshing morning with stunning sunrise over the Himalayan peaks enjoy a hearty breakfast. Then drive on winding downhill to Bhaktapur city, taking you back to the medieval era. From the parking lot a few minutes’ walk to the exciting historical, heritage sites of Bhaktapur Durbar Square (royal palace and courtyard).
One of the world’s best Nepal heritage sites reflecting the city’s rich culture, art and architectural design, it is also the central setting of the city for architectural monuments and arts. Famous golden gate entrance to the main courtyard of the Palace of 55 windows; the gate is regarded as the world’s most beautiful and richly carved specimens of its kind.
Highlights of Bhaktapur and landmark Nytapola Temple, meaning 5 storied temple of 30 meter high, tallest temple of Kathmandu valley.
It was built by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1708 AD. Each of its five terraces holds a pair of figures, starting from bottom wrestlers, elephant, lion, griffins and goddesses.
Bhairavnath Temple of Bhaktapur:
Originally built as a one-story pagoda during King Jagat Jyoti Malla period, later changed into a three-storied temple in 1718 A.D. by King Bhupatindra Malla, this temple now stands for its artistic grandeur. Bhairavnath temple is dedicated to Lord Bhairab – the god of Terror.
After lunch, a half hour pleasant walk to Dattatraya Temple Square through the local market. The temple is said to have been built from a single tree in 1427 AD, visit a monastery having exquisitely carved peacock windows located near the temple area.
Around Bhaktapur there are two main pottery areas, the first pottery square is at Suryamadhi east from Dattatraya Temple Square.
It is the oldest pottery square, another pottery place leads south from the Nytapola square at Talako’s Potter’s Square walking along interesting markets side streets the pottery is in full blaze, the wide open brick courtyard with a mix of small grey and brownish red clay pots, where each pot is examined by hand before being turned to face the sun at new angle or dipped into a bucket of colored water.
Observe the craftsman on wheels shaping the clay in a finely tuned system of human pottery rotation from past centuries of old tradition.
After a delightful day from Nagarkot with an exciting tour of Bhaktapur, then drive back to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure for individual activities and shopping souvenirs.

Morning as time for short flight to Pokhara, transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport. After checking in board in an aircraft for sweeping scenic flight to Pokhara
and enjoy the panorama of the Himalayas. Includes views of Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu and Annapurna Himalayan ranges of peaks. Then after half an hour the plane lands at the beautiful Pokhara airport, a short transfer to your hotels.
Located by the serene and beautiful Phewa Lakeside, enjoy the comfort of a nice
hotels. Afternoon with time to explore the streets of Lakeside lined with fancy shops, stores, world class restaurants and hotels.

Early morning before breakfast, a short drive on winding uphill to Sarankot, a scenic Viewpoint Hill. From the top enjoy the stunning sunrise over an array of
Midwest Himalayan peaks with Annapurna Himalayan ranges. The views includes
as far as Mt. Dhaulagiri in the west with Manaslu Himalayas towards east.
The dramatic views of Pokhara Valley and city with Phewa Lake way down.
From Sarankot back to the hotel for breakfast, after an hour of refreshing rest, the tour continues for the day.
The tour of the natural wonders with Devi’s Waterfall, or Patale Chhago (Hell’s fall). Impressive cascading waterfall, amidst a pleasant park garden. From here, visit the large cave of Gupteswor. The tour then leads north around the local market area and visits the Brindabhasini Temple. It is a lovely area for viewing and observing the devotees with religious rituals. It offers excellent views of the Pokhara local bazaar with Annapurna peaks, and a visit to the Seti River gorge. Time permitting, visit the International Mountaineering Museum, which has information and history of the Himalayas. After a great day, return to the hotel for individual activities or boating in Phewa Lake.

Morning options for tour, interested people can visit Peace Stupa, take a boat to the other side of the lake. The Shanti or Peace Stupa is on the southern side of Lake Phewa, hike uphill. A few short, steep sections in the shade of a forest, with an hour climb to reach a ridge top. Enjoy the refreshing cool air next to the beautiful Stupa. The whole complex is a park and a garden with a marble stupa that houses a statue of Sakyamuni Buddha. From here, enjoy the views of Lake Phewa, Pokhara city, and the Himalayan peaks. Retrace the journey back to the hotel for lunch. Late afternoon a short drive to Pokhara airport and board the aircraft for a sweeping flight to Kathmandu. 

On arrival in Kathmandu transfer to the hotel, with a free afternoon for individual activities. 
Please Note:
Interested people can extend the holiday for more days to enjoy adventure sports activities. Likewise, Paragliding, Zip-Flyer, Ultra-Light Flight, Bungee Jumping, or to enjoy relaxation moments. The other options are short hiking and trekking for
a few days to a week. Can trek to famous Ghorepani and Poon Hill or Annapurna Base Camp.

Early morning before breakfast transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport for an
hour mountain flight. (Depending upon the clear mornings for views), after checking in board on the spacious seated aircraft. As soon the plane takes off, enjoy the panorama of Kathmandu city and the valley. Then the Himalayan peaks appear overlooking Manaslu, Ganesh and Langtang Himal. The plane diverts east with views of Jugal Himal and Mt. Gaurishankar the prominent peak.
As the flight heads further east, views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse and Makalu, after a glorious morning view. The flight diverts west to land after an hour of scenic mountain flight. At the airport transfer to the hotel for breakfast and refreshment, the tour continues in the afternoon.

The drive leads east to the famous and holy Pashupatinath Temple, a pagoda style Hindu temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated at the bank of the holy Baghmati River. One of the most sacred temples in the entire Hindu world,
Pashupatinath Temple is the nerve center of pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri. 

This small religious town itself houses the great temple known as Debpatan and is situated 5 kilometers east of the capital city. Only Hindus are permitted to enter the main courtyard of the temple. Alien tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the Baghmati River.

From here a short drive north east to Bouddhanath area, enjoy the stroll around the huge dome Buddhist Stupa. Declared as the largest Buddhist shrine of South Asia, the ancient colossal Chorten built in the 6th century A.D. by King Man Deb. It rests on a series of three terraces and from the bird’s eye view it takes the relevant shape of a lotus flower which indeed remains a very holy object for all the devout Buddhists of the world. The Chorten is surrounded by a circular market, which forms a part of little Tibet town. Four pairs of the Buddha’s eyes give a vivid flash to the four cardinal directions, meaning to keep a diligent watch over the people and their commitments all day and all night.
The Chorten embraces the authentic philosophy of Mahayana faith of Buddhism which is known as Lamaism in Sikkim, Ladakh, Bhutan and Tibet. 

After a wonderful and pleasant and exciting afternoon tour drive back to the hotel. Rest of evening at leisure with fond memories of Nepal and its scenic and cultural destinations.

Last day in Kathmandu, Nepal the land of Himalayan wonders, as time for the international flights. Our staff transfers you to the airport and then bid farewell to the guides and staff. As you enter the air terminal for a homeward bound flight.
