THE BEST SEASONS FOR DHULIKHEL & NAMO BUDDHA TOUR:
The best seasons are spring, from March to May, and autumn/fall, which begins from September to November. Interested travelers can visit all year round, except for the summer/monsoon time of mid-June to August.
During the springtime, most days are bright with longer sunny days, but it can get cloudy sometimes in the afternoons. The late afternoons, nights, and mornings are cooler; the right time to visit is when wildflowers are in seasonal bloom.

DHULIKHEL TOWN:
Dhulikhel is a Newari town, the native main tribe of Kathmandu Valley.
This town is more than 500 years old, located east of the Kathmandu Valley at
30 km/19 miles driving distances. It is on the route to Tibet/China and Nepal borders of Kodari at approx. 75 km / 47 miles. It is on the midway to newly built BP Highway and towards Jiri, the gateway town to Everest.
Dhulikhel is at 1,550 m/5,086 feet. Offers a grand vista of the Central and Eastern Himalayas. Includes Langtang and Jugal Himal with majestic Gaurishankar Himal, the view extends as far as the Everest range. Dhulikhel is also a popular tourist destination, where visitors can enjoy the comfort of an excellent hotel, lodges, and resorts. Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive to Dhulikhel 1,550 m and transfer to the Hotel- 02 hrs.
By 9 a.m. or later, our guide will pick you up for an exciting drive to Dhulikhel town. The drive heads beyond Kathmandu city and the valley rim past the outskirts of Bhaktapur city. Then a slow, short winding climb to a high ridge at Sanga, where a tall statue of Lord Shiva stands. The journey continues with a pleasant drive to a large Banepa Town, and then a short climb to Dhulikhel town. On arrival, check into nice hotels or resorts, with time for lunch or other refreshments. The rest of the afternoon, visit the local town and village steeped in a culture of both Hinduism and Buddhism. Enjoy the striking sunset views from the hotel terraces as they reflect on a snow mountain range.

Day 02: Enjoy sunrise, then drive to Namo Buddha and back to Kathmandu.
Early morning, a short walk to a hilltop, enjoy a stunning sunrise as it reflects on the Himalayan mountain range. The panorama of Ganesh, Langtang, Jugal Himalayas, as far as the Everest range, with close views of Gaurishankar peaks. After an exciting moment, back to the hotel for breakfast, and then a short drive south to the holy site of Namo Buddha. Located in serene forest surroundings,
a perfect spot for worship, one of the unsurpassable great holy sites known as the Three Stupas in Nepal is Tagmo Lüjin, it means “The place where the future Buddha sacrificed his body to a tigress”.
A sacred place where the supreme Buddha-at that time still on the path of learning-offered his own body without regret to a tigress suffering from hunger. What follows is a history of this supreme and distinguished sacred site, whose location is unmistakable based on the clear identification given in the Sutra Requested by the Tigress and so forth.
After a marvelous morning, drive towards Dhulikhel and then on the main road back to Kathmandu, and then to the hotel.
