From Kathmandu a swift and scenic flight reaches you to the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Our Bhutanese counterpart’s agency and expert guide will show you the wonders of Bhutan and its natural way of living.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour.
Day 03: Fly to Paro-Bhutan by Druk Air and transfer to hotel.
Day 04: In Paro 2,280 m for a sightseeing tour.
Day 05: In Paro Tour of Druk Gyalzen.
Day 06: Drive to Thimphu 2,320 (54 k.m) – 02 hrs.
Day 07: At Thimphu sightseeing tour.
Day 08: Drive back to Paro on-route visit Simtokh Dzong.
Day 09: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations or
Kathmandu.
Detail Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to a hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal international airport received by Brown Bear Trail staff for a short drive to your hotels. Situated in the hub of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed, join with other members of Bhutan Cultural Tour for briefing. The staff will provide information of Bhutan tour and cultures with do’s and don’ts.
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing and preparation for the trip
Morning after breakfast at a given time our guide will meet the group for an exciting tour of Kathmandu’s World Heritage Sites.
The holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath (Little Tibet), Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) & monasteries. Includes old Palaces and royal courtyard; after an interesting sightseeing back to hotel, preparation for the trip to Bhutan.
Day 03: Fly to Paro-Bhutan via Druk Air and transfer to a hotel.
As light time for Paro, Bhutan Brown Bear Trail staff transfers you to Kathmandu international airport. Enjoy the panoramic flight to Paro with glorious views of the Himalayan chain of peaks. On reaching Paro, Bhutan’s International Airport. Going through immigration and visa formalities, our Bhutan guide will receive the group for the drive to respective hotels in Paro, with afternoon free at leisure.
Day 04: In Paro 2,280m / 7,524 ft. for sightseeing tours.
Soon after breakfast our Bhutan guide will receive you at the hotel, for a nice and pleasant walk with an hour or less climb up at a slow, easy pace to a famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s nest). Offering amazing views of Paro and distant snow-capped peaks, after a wonderful time here descend by the same route, afternoon visit of 17th century Ta-Dzong, later converted into the National Museum in 1967.
Day 05: In Paro, Tour of Druk Gyalzen.
In Paro, one of the major towns of Bhutan full of historical and cultural and heritage sites, our guide will take you on a full day tour of Paro visiting a ruined fort built to commemorate the victory over Tibetan invaders in the 17th century. After an interest in Druk Gyalzen, a late afternoon tour of the National Museum which displays rich collections of fine arts weapons.
Day 06: Drive to Thimphu 2,320m / 7,656ft (54 k.m.) – 02 hrs.
After an interesting time at Paro, morning two hours scenic interesting drive to a modern capital of Bhutan in Thimphu ( the only city in the world without a traffic lights) , on reaching at Thimphu check in at respective hotels, after lunch visit the memorial stupa, indigenous hospital, where traditional medicine is still practiced and the painting school.
Day 07: At Thimphu sightseeing tour.
After a good breakfast, the native guide will take you for a tour to Memorial Stupa, and indigenous hospital. Where traditional medicine is still practiced, and the painting school. Enjoy the tour of Memorial Chorten (temple) built in memory of the late 3rd King of Bhutan.
Visit Changangkha Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the valley offering a nice view of the valley. A short scenic drive to visit the largest and newly built statue of Lord Buddha. Includes grand vista of Thimphu and the valley, after an interesting tour of Thimphu and beyond. Drive back to the hotel, after lunch the tour continues visiting the Traditional Hand Made Paper Mills. As well School of Arts and Crafts where students get to learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan.
The Folk Heritage Museum, and National Library includes the Traditional Institute of Medicine. Then drive to the Zilukha nunnery to meet the nuns, an interesting place with cheerful nuns to interact. From here back to the hotel, with evening free till dinner time.
Day 08: Drive back to Paro on route to visit Simtokh Dzong.
From Thimphu with a pleasant short stay at Bhutan’s capital, afternoon drive back to Paro, on the way to visit a fort built in 1927-29 by Shabdung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified the Kingdom. After a nice wonderful drive and visits of interesting places of interest, The drive to Paro with time for a tour of Simtokh Dzong, another fort of Paro.
Day 09: Morning drive to Paro airport for respective destinations.
Depending upon the flight time for Kathmandu or other respective destinations. The native guide transfers you to Paro airport and then depart Bhutan bidding farewell to guide and staff. Then get on board for an exciting flight to respective destinations. For international connecting flights to Delhi onwards or fly to Kathmandu.
