Annapurna Region
The Annapurna Region is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking destinations, known for its breathtaking mountain views, diverse landscapes, and rich cultural experiences. It offers treks like the Annapurna Circuit, Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), Ghorepani Poon Hill, Mardi Himal, and Tilicho Lake. The region features lush forests, traditional Gurung and Magar villages, high-altitude deserts, and stunning peaks such as Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), and Dhaulagiri (8,167m). Treks range from easy to challenging, with tea house accommodations available throughout. The best seasons for trekking are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November).
