The best season for the Best of Nepal Tour is spring, from March to May.
This includes autumn/fall, which begins from September to November.
Interested people can visit all year round, except for the summer/monsoon time of mid-June to August. 

During the springtime, most days are bright with longer sunny days, but it can get cloudy sometimes in the afternoons. The late afternoons, nights, and mornings are cooler; the right time to visit is when wildflowers are in seasonal bloom.

On arrival at Kathmandu and Nepal International Airport, you will be received
by our guides and staff for a short transfer to your hotels in the hub of Kathmandu city.

Check your lovely room, then after getting refreshed, join the other members of the Best of Nepal Tour. The guide or group leader will brief you regarding the tour, do’s and don’ts with local culture, foods, and accommodation facilities.
The information will help you enjoy the adventure with us, followed by a welcome group dinner in a Nepalese restaurant with a folk-culture program as entertainment while you enjoy the dinner.

In Kathmandu, a full-day sightseeing tour around places of interest, the
Kathmandu’s three cities offer beautiful World Heritage Sites.
Most monuments and historical sites are ancients of the past centuries.
Enjoy the tour of old Durbar Square (Royal Palace) and courtyard. From the ancient Malla and Shah kingdom Regime, a lovely place, Kathmandu’s old Durbar Square teemed with life and activity.
The areas, steeped with history, includes visit of Living Goddess Kumari and the
old palace interiors.

After the tour of old Durbar Square, the drive leads west of the city to a green
hilltop. The old Swyambhunath, a Buddhist Stupa, stands above Kathmandu city,
with a great view of Kathmandu city. On a clear and fine day, the snow peaks
can be seen in the north. The Swyambhunath is 2,500 years old.
From here, it is a short drive to Pashupatinath Temple. Located by the Baghmati
River, a temple with golden roofs, surrounded by four silver doors.
Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the main premises but can observe
from the opposite side of the river.

The temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Shiva, after Pashupatinath.
The tour extends towards Bouddhanath. A huge dome-shaped Buddhist dome,
the Stupa, the area is also known as Little Tibet. Due to the local inhabitants of
the Tibetan origin people reside around the Bouddhanath premises.
The dome stupa of three tiers, white-washed with orange design, appears like a
lotus. The Stupa has four mystical eyes of Lord Buddha in each cardinal
direction. After the tour, there will be time for lunch in a nice restaurant, and then
we will head back to the hotel. After an exciting day tour of cultural and
religious interest.

The morning tour starts with a short drive across the Baghmati River to enter the
Lalitpur district of Patan. The leads in the heart of Path city, or Lalitpur, means city
arts and crafts. Enter Patan Durbar Square, which is full of daily activities and
the best way to observe the local cultures of Newari people.
The inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley, the tour of old Malla kingdom palace
interior. Including the beautiful carved pillars and windows of the temple around
the Royal Courtyard. Visit the Krishna Temple, the fine stone works from the
bottom to the top. It is an interesting place to enjoy around the Patan Durbar
Square. After visiting most of the famous old sites around the Patan Durbar
Square the drive heads east to Bhaktapur city.

On reaching the Durbar Square (Royal Courtyard). A magnificent place to
experience, it takes you back to medieval times.
The city is an open living Museum; enjoy the tour of the famous Golden Gate.
Includes palaces of the 55 Windows and then to another small square, where the
famous Nytapola stands. Towers high above the old Bhaktapur city, a magnificent
five-storied roofed pagoda temples of a great architectures.
Visit the Dattatraya Square, located east of the city and within walking distance,
and enjoy the fine old temple of god Bhairab.

Includes a tour of the famous Peacock Window nearby, then a visit to the classic
Pottery place. Observe the ancient craftsmanship of potteries from fine clays
after Bhaktapur. The drive leads uphill to Changunarayan Temple, the oldest Hindu
shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Located above the Kathmandu Valley and
Bhaktapur is within the quaint town of Changunarayan.

The drive continues uphill to reach the hill station at Nagarkot, a famous
and scenic hill viewpoint. Offers a spectacular panorama of the Himalayas as far as
Everest in the far east. Nagarkot is also a vantage point for sunsets and sunrise
views as it reflects on the white Himalayan peaks.
Nagarkot has many hotels and resorts to enjoy an overnight for picturesque scenery. Enjoy the comfort of a Luxury hotel or resort with grand views of snow-capped peaks.

Rise early in the morning for stunning views of the sunrise over an array of
Himalayan Snow Mountain range. After breakfast, get on board a vehicle for
an exciting and Interesting overland journey heading Midwest.
The drive leads through Kathmandu Valley’s outskirts to follow the Trisuli River to
the junction at Mugling Bazaar.
From here, our route diverts west, it is an exciting journey past farm villages
and towns. A great way to observe rural farm life is to reach the Dumre.
From the drive heads up leaving the Kathmandu and Pokhara Highway to
hill town of Bandipur.

On arrival, a warm welcome by the locals of Bandipur with garlands and then
transfer to a lovely cottage. A pretty and attractive Bandipur small town, furnished with lovely flowers around the balcony of every house and lodge.
Houses with authentic Nepali style, it is a neat village town in the backdrop of the
Himalayan ranges.

Enjoy the comfort of Nepali hospitality and walk around Bandipur to interact with
the cheerful locals. Enjoy a typical Nepali dinner with a cultural folk program of
dancing and singing.

Early morning a short hike above the Bandipur Town for sunrise views with
breathtaking panorama of the Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayas.
After a refreshing morning view, return for breakfast and depart from Bandipur
for a good lunch at Pokhara. A short drive with views of snow peak, as the journey
ends reaching scenic Pokhara. On arrival, transfer to your hotel, situated
by the lovely serene Phewa Lake, in the close shadow of Annapurna Himalayas.

Early morning before dawn, skipping breakfast, a short drive leads to winding uphill at Sarankot Hill top at 1,460 m. A scenic spot to enjoy the morning glory of stunning sunrise over snow-capped mountains. Facing fabulous views
of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, and Mt. Manaslu Himalayan range with
majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish Tail”.
Sarankot is a popular spot for paragliding. After a refreshing morning drive to the hotel for breakfast. The tour continues to visit the natural wonders of Pokhara, with Devi’s Waterfall, or Patale Chhago (Hell’s Fall). Impressive cascading waterfall, amidst a pleasant park garden. From here, visit the large cave of Gupteswor. The tour then leads north around the local market area and visits the Brindabhasini Temple. It is a lovely area for viewing and observing the devotees with religious rituals. It offers excellent views of the Pokhara local bazaar with Annapurna peaks and a visit to the Seti River gorge. Time permitting, visit the International Mountaineering Museum, which has information and history of the Himalayas. After a great day, return to the hotel for individual activities or boating in Phewa Lake.

The morning after breakfast, depart from the hotel for another exciting drive to
Nepal Far South West. An interesting drive heads south of Pokhara Valley, past
the town of Syangja, Waling. Then, reaching the lower, warm flat country around the Terai belt, the drive heads close to Butwal City. The drive heads southwest towards Lumbini, reaching Lumbini for two overnight stops. In the afternoon, our tour guide and escort will take you around Lumbini to observe the local culture.

Lumbini is located in the Far Mid-West of Nepal, around the flatland Terai belt with a sub-tropical climate. Enjoy the sunset while relaxing on the hotel balcony or terrace.

In the morning, enjoy the day visiting the Buddhist historical sites. Lumbini is the traditional birthplace of Prince Siddhartha Gautama, who reached Buddhahood and was the great founder of Buddhism. Was born in the 6th Century B.C. beside the birth site of Lord Buddha known as ‘The Light of Asia. ’ Tour of an interesting stone pillar built by an Indian Emperor Asoka, who converted to Buddhism. He visited Lumbini and constructed four stupas, and the pillar bears a historical inscription.

Translates as the exact spot of Lord Buddha’s birth, the holy site was rediscovered in 1895 by a German archaeologist. Similarly, a record was made by the Chinese pilgrim Fa Xian, who acclaimed the sacred site. Lumbini was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. There are many monasteries and Stupas from all around the world, the tour of holy pond. Buddha’s mother used to take a bath, the visit leads to several historical and religious sites.
After an exciting tour back to the hotel, you will have time to stroll around the streets and markets of Lumbini.

The morning after breakfast, another exciting drive heading east to Chitwan National Park area for an exciting Jungle Safari. The overland journey heads back on the same route for some hours. From Narayanghat and Bharatpur, the drive heads further east to Tadi Town. From here, leaving the main highway, follow south towards Sauraha. A small town situated near the entrance of Chitwan National Park, where all the good hotels, lodges, and resorts are located.

On arrival, transfer to respective hotels for three overnights, received by the hotel manager and naturalist. Having a refreshing rest as the manager or naturalist provides brief information about jungle activities and safari.
Then check into a nice room and enjoy the good lunch. In the afternoon, the guide or naturalist will take you for a short nature walk or visit to the native Tharu village. To observe the cultures of the Tharu peoples, the indigenous tribe of Terai and Chitwan. In the evening, you can enjoy a slide show of Chitwan National Wildlife or a Tharu cultural program with dinner before you retire to your nice rooms.

The program is based on the number of guests at the hotels and as booking by the
Woman Adventures. The nature and jungle activities start early in the morning before breakfast. The guide will explain the programs for bird-watching, tower visits, or an elephant safari.

The jungle and nature activities are as follows:

3 p.m. Jungle activities: either elephant safari (if not enjoyed in the morning),
or jungle walks, jungle drive. Visit a local Tharu village and tour the Tharu museum.
