Shekhar was our “fixer”, the guide who knew how to solve every problem, and will keeping working around the clock to make sure the trip runs smoothly. No trek or expedition goes according to plan, but between Shekhar, the porters he hires, and everyone at Brown Bear Trails you will be taken care of (we had to deal with multiple diseases, lost luggage, broken gear, and flight delays!). Note, if you climbing make sure your cardio and nutrition plan is in great shape as even the smallest Himalayan peaks are steep. Our trip was the trek to EBC and a climb of Imja Tse (Island Peak). If I were to return to Nepal, Shekhar and Brown Bear Trails would be my guides!
