This day is reserved for the preparation of the trip. Today, you can shop for peak climbing equipment, browsing the shops nearby your Hotel. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Early in the morning, you will make your morning flight to Lukla. The short flight to Lukla is quite amazing as it provides you with your first glimpse of the mountains. The Lukla airport has also garnered a name for itself for being a thrilling place to land aircraft, situated at the edge of a cliff with a short runway that drops down to the valley below. Upon landing at Lukla, you will begin your trekking trip. Going through the woodlands past Lukla, you will make your way to Phakding, one of the famous stops for trekkers entering the Khumbu. Overnights stay at a guesthouse at Phakding.

This is a beautiful day in the trekking journey as you will be making your way to the famous town of Namche Bazaar. Past Phakding, you will follow the well-trodden trail that coruscates through the valley towards the Dudh Koshi River. Crossing the river via a suspension bridge, you will enter the wood once again until you reach the checkpoint of the Sagarmatha National Park. From there, the trail is a steady up-and-down trudge through the beautiful rhododendron woodlands until you reach the Sherpa town of Namche. All along the way, you can get wonderful views of the Everest Peaks, and the sight of Himalayas like the Kongdi RI and the Thamserku, including Lobuche and Mount Pumori are quite amazing. You will also pass small settlements along your way. Overnights stay at Namche Bazaar.

This is a day reserved for acclimatization. Namche Bazaar is a great place for acclimatization as this town is strategically situated at the mid-way point between the Everest Base Camp and the Lukla airport. Thus, it has garnered a reputation of being a “gateway to Everest” and is one of the most famous towns of the Khumbu. Namche is located on a Cliffside, with terraced fields upon which the villagers have built their houses and lodges. From Namche, you can get wonderful views of the Dudh Koshi River valley and sight of the Everest peaks that shadow over the basins. In addition, you can spend the day exploring the town and taking a short hike up to the Syangboche airstrip. The Syangboche airstrip is located above Namche and presents amazing panoramic sights of the town and the mountain peaks. Namche also has a Sherpa Culture Museum and an Everest Photo gallery. Overnights stay at Namche.

Leaving Namche, you will begin your trek towards Tengboche today. First, you will trek upon the path that takes you down to the Dudh Koshi River. Then, following the riverbank, you will cross smaller streams until you reach the Imja valley basin. From there, it is a steady climb uphill towards Tengboche. The hills along the trek are also covered with rhododendron and pine forests, making today's trek quite peaceful and amazing. The woods are also home to many Himalayan birds, the Himalayan eagles you can see soaring above the forest line. The Tengboche village is situated at the confluence of the Imja River valley and the Dudh Koshi River basin. From the village, you can get one of the clearest views of the Ama Dablam Peak. Overnights stay at Tengboche.

After breakfast and a short prayer at the Tengboche monastery, you will begin your trip to Dingboche today. Going through the woodlands, you will climb up and down the Imja valley hills as you make your way to Dingboche. This ethnic village is situated north of the Chhukung valley and presents amazing mountain peaks like the Ama Dablam, Imja Tse, and Mount Everest. The Imja River also flows east of the village, and it also harbors a potato and buckwheat farm, surrounded by a mile-long stone wall. The swift Himalayan wind also blows down the village during evenings, and the afternoons are filled with direct sunlight- giving the village the name of "the summer valley f Khumbu." Overnights stay at Dingboche.

This is another day reserved for acclimatization. You can spend the day exploring the village, or you can also have a short hike to the top of the Nangkartshang peak (5,083m). The hike takes about 2 to 3 hours, and the views of mountain peaks such as Mount Tawache, the Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Lhotse Himal, Mount Everest, and the Pumori from the top are spectacular. The village is also quite charming, and it has some local lodges that offer Wi-Fi. The surrounding pastures of the village are also dotted with yak and mule caravans. These are the only transport the villagers use in the region. Overnights stay at Dingboche.

From Dingboche, you will begin your trek to Lobuche today. The trek to Lobuche takes you up the Imja valley towards the Khumbu Glacier- the largest glacier in Nepal. For the most part, you will gain very slight elevation as you walk alongside the valley wall today. However, the ascent starts getting a bit more difficult as the trail crosses into the valley and up the Khumbu glacier moraine wall. Following the moraine, you will slowly make your way to the Lobuche village, trekking on a path that eventually begins to flatten out the closer you reach the village. Overnights stay at Lobuche.

The hike from Lobuche to Gorak Shep is steep but manageable. Gorak Shep is a small settlement situated at the banks of a frozen sandy lakebed of the same name at 5,154 meters. It is a rather small settlement, and it is not inhabited year-round. This is the final stop before the Everest Base Camp, and the Dalai Lama even dubbed it- "the steps to heaven." Upon arriving at Gorak Shep, you will visit the base camp situated a few miles ahead. The base camp of Everest is where the Everest expedition begins. After spending some time at the base camp, you will make your way back to Gorak Shep. Overnights stay at a lodge.

Today is a special day as you will make your way to the viewpoint of Kala Patthar. You will make the trip early in the morning before dawn. The viewpoint of Kala Patthar, translated as "the Black Rock," provides one of the most memorable panoramas of the entire Everest Range. You can witness the sun rising from amidst the Everest peaks from the viewpoint, and it is a phenomenon that will stay in your mind forever. The rising sun changes the tone of the mountains as the cold silver shades of the peak turns into warmer tones of the sun's rays. It looks like molten lava is slowly spreading across the Himalayas' surface. After taking in this dreamy moment, you will make your way back to Lobuche, going down the valley once more. Overnights stay at Lobuche.

From Lobuche, you will begin your trek towards the Lobuche base camp. After trekking some distance on a relatively flat plain, the trail to the Lobuche Base Camp starts getting steeper and rock-strewn. Finally, you will move forward along the Lobuche Glacier to base camp. Along the journey, you can enjoy amazing views of the Ama Dablam Peak, Mount Cholatse, the Pokalde Peak, Mount Thamserku, the Kantega Himal, and many others Himalayas. From base camp, you will then continue on a rocky moraine path to High Camp. Overnights stay at the Lobuche East High Camp.

Waking up early at 12 to 1 am and having breakfast, you will begin the climb. You must reach the Lobuche summit before noon as the afternoon is hit with strong winds in the high lands. This might become a barrier between a successful summit climb. You will likely walk on rock surfaces until the altitude of 5,700 meters, after which you will be climbing on ice. Then, using both fixed ropes and man ropes as per your guide’s instruction, you will slowly make your way to the top. Lobuche East presents more panoramic views of the mountains than any other trekking peak in the region. From the summit, you can enjoy magnificent views of Everest, Mount Lhotse, the Nuptse Himal, Ama Dablam, the Cholatse Himal, Mount Pumori, and many more. After spending some time at the summit, you will make your way back down to High Camp. Overnights stay at High camp.

This day is reserved as a contingency day if you cannot do the climb at the peak summit day. Since the weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, you can use this day as a backup. If everything goes according to the itinerary, then you do not need this day.

After breakfast, you will trek downhill from Lobuche High Camp and join the Everest Base Camp route towards Lobuche again. After lunch at Lobuche, you will retrace your path towards the Pheriche village. On the way to Pheriche, you can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Ama Dablam on the horizon. From Pheriche, you will then continue to Pangboche, trekking down the hillside blanketed by rhododendron and juniper woods. During the spring, pink and red rhododendron flowers light up the surroundings. Upon reaching Pangboche, you can also visit the famous Pangboche Monastery there. Overnights stay at Pangboche

From Pangboche, you will retrace your steps down to the Imja Khola again. Trekking up through the forest, you will first head towards Tengboche. After lunch, you will continue through the rhododendron and juniper-covered hills and cross the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. The trail here then follows the Dudh Koshi gorge, descending rapidly through the pine woods before settling Sansa. You can keep a lookout for wildlife here, and if lucky- you can catch a glimpse of the mountain goat and colorful pheasants. Even the elusive Snow Leopard can sometimes make an unlikely appearance. After passing a Chorten, you will reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar. Overnights stay in Namche Bazaar.

From Namche, you will retrace your way back towards Lukla, crossing over the Dudh Koshi River and its smaller tributaries and streams. All along the journey, you will be greeted by amazing views of the mountain peaks. Overnights stay at Lukla.

You will bid the mountains farewell today as you catch your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon landing at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnights stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.
